We’re going on vacation to China in August and I wanna bring my iphone there but would it work? ‘Cause we might be moving there soon and I REALLY wanna keep using my iphone there, so can I?

Your phone is locked to AT&T. If you use it outside of the US, the international roaming fees will bankrupt you. The cheapest way to use the phone is to unlock it and use a local prepaid sim card. Unfortunately, neither AT&T nor Apple will unlock it. Depending on the model you have and the OS on the phone, you may be able to jailbreak and unlock it. Basically, you may be able to hack it.
